This advanced DIY drawing salve combines natural and effective ingredients to gently soften and draw out crystallized keratin from cysts while promoting healing and reducing inflammation. Formulated with a nourishing base of coconut oil and beeswax, the salve incorporates penetrating castor oil, activated charcoal, and kaolin clay for enhanced drawing and absorption. The inclusion of salicylic acid provides a keratolytic action to exfoliate hardened skin gently. Complemented by soothing botanicals from calendula and Centella asiatica (in Zax’s scar cream), as well as essential oils like peppermint and frankincense, this salve offers both therapeutic benefits and a calming effect. Ideal for use on intact external skin, the salve is applied after warm compresses and left under a non-stick dressing overnight, delivering a potent yet gentle treatment to support cyst resolution and skin restoration.
